The first images of Estudio Barozzi Veiga’s competition winning design for the Ribera del Duero Winery in Roa are beginning to surface as the project nears completion. Though a slight let down from the renderings, which conveyed a much more monolithic and heavily textured building that appeared to have been carved from the hillside (and also featured a much more interesting angled entry door), the locally sourced stone compliments the existing structures nicely. Looking forward to seeing more images (especially at night). Via.
